My main quibble about the cycle routes is that they spend most of the day as car parks.
Especially parts of my local bits in Purley area. I.E Foxley Lane, purley end. The route from purley to whyteleafe, and the main Brighton Rd, Purley to Sth Croydon.
What a complete waste of hundreds of thousands of £s laying out these bike lanes for cars to park on!
Regarding “Close Ballard’s Way to through-traffic”, I think this would be punitive measure for residents of Farley road and Croham valley road.
All the cars would divert via these both road and cause more traffic problem, along with it brings in pollution and danger to cyclists and residents of these roads.
