  • There was a lot to see and do in Croydon’s North End on Saturday 23 June 2012 as part of the Bike Week celebrations. Attractions included Dr Bike, bike marking by the police, the opportunity to sit in a HGV and see how difficult it can be for a truck driver to see you when you’re riding your bike, the Bicycle Library, cargo bikes from Carry Me and a car-shaped bike rack that shows that 1 car parking space can accommodate ten bikes.  Local cyclist Rose Nelson summed it all up as “awesome”.
