Only three of us on this rescheduled ride from Croydon to Richmond Park – which was a shame, as we enjoyed good weather, the delights of the Wandle trail and of the park – including a herd of deer – and the cycle-friendly pub, The Telegraph. Mitul took his head cam, and we look forward to seeing the edited highlights.

Things you don't see everyday
Disappointed that I couldn’t join you but I did have enough time to do a fast cycle – ie not via the Wandle Trail! – to Wimbledon Common (a bit of off-roading – interesting on my Pearson Touche) and a loop with the roadies around Richmond Park. All done in 2 1/2 hours!! So, thanks for the inspiration!

We decided against going across Wimbledon Common because of the recent heavy rain – how was it for you?

Still cycleable on the Pearson so would have been fine on your bikes, if you like mud and boggy puddles! I couldn’t tell you which path I took though, other than it was signed for cyclists.
