Croydon Cycling Campaign is calling on every Croydon candidate in this year’s London borough council elections to improve qualify of life for all by making local streets safe and inviting for everyone to cycle. By using our space4cycling website you can e-mail the candidates in your ward asking them to sign up to the specific improvement we are calling for in their area.

Some of our asks include:

  • Closing Norbury Avenue to Through Traffic
  • Protected Space for Cycling on Brighton Road
  • A 20mph limit in New Addington
  • Safe routes to school for the Brit School on The Crescent
  • New Greenway routes in East Coulsdon

These asks will not only boost cycling but provide benefits to all residents by creating more people-friendly high streets, quieter residential roads and a safer walking environment. So don’t hesitate and e-mail your candidates now!
